I'm Lauren Dulay. I'm an artist in a lot of ways. Since I'm an artist, that means I only make half of my money from actual art and the other half has to come from working at our family business. I'm an Aquarius, a home owner, fat cat named Beebee owner, and business owner.
I'm also co-owner of a local magazine called Miser Magazine, a free art and literature zine that's now been archived in the Cleveland Museum of Art. (That's kind of a big deal!) A Miser Book is in the works at the moment.

When I had a tattoo apprenticeship in my 20's, I was there for 8 hours a day so I decided to begin an extensively long project to draw. This was the start of my very first cartoon music video. Then a few years later, I was hired by Machine Gun Kelly to make an official music video for him. Cartoons are a good way to direct, execute, and film an entire movie by myself, by animating it. But they have to be short since I have to draw 8 pictures for every second of the song. It takes a long time. I would love to not be restricted by time and be able make a long film. With real people, not cartoons.

I can't say I do anything in particular. I sort of do it all. If I set my mind to it, I do it. I recently remodeled my kitchen and bathroom myself, and my dad and I just rebuilt my front porch. I can build things! But I also love gardening, watching cartoons and playing video games so I'm also a normal person sometimes.
I once spent over a year researching the entire history of Earth and then made a 6-part series where I narrate the humongous timeline chart that I had made. It was so big it broke my computer. The chart has everything on it, from ice ages, to volcanic eruptions, to evolution of plants and animals, to Julius Caesar. I do a lot of things with my time as you can tell. But maybe that's why I'm interested in languages so much, due to the history of migration and where we came from. I learned the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Well, up to triple consonant logograms because then it got confusing.
I make solar system ornaments, planet-themed gifts and tarot cards in my free time which is a business I own called Charming Dinosaur Gifts. I sell locally and online. I've made book covers, posters, graphics, tattoos and everything in between. The next goal is to make a movie. And it's gonna be awesome.
Ask me about my Matergy Theory. It's a theory I wrote and published online on a blog just so I can have proof that I thought of it first when some fancy scientist thinks of it someday. It's a substance I theorize exists, and I touch on it in the screenplay a little bit.
